Utilize easy and creative treadmill workouts at home and even during work to keep yourself healthy and fit. These treadmills are designed to build different fitness levels. In order to get the most out of the treadmill workouts, the machine should have a heart rate monitor. If not then it is best to get fitted.

Various treadmill workouts

Treadmill workouts can be as rewarding as any outdoor workout. These few workouts are mostly fat burners.
- The Retro is for coordination, balance and strength. Simply walk backwards on the treadmill at an easy pace for 10 - 15 minutes.
- The Trail Hike is to work a variety of muscle groups. Use the treadmill's pre-set programs or manually vary the incline.
- Sporting Event Fartlek. Fartlek a Swedish name for "speed play. It is walking at fast and then at slow pace with a minute break for a great cardiovascular workout. It works out to 45 minutes.
- The Short Circuit is a mix of aerobic and strength training. Walk at a comfortable free pace for five minutes, then 1-minute circuit exercises like push-ups and dips. For 30 minutes.
- The Stretch too is a mix of aerobic training and gentle stretching.

Stretching is effective when the muscles are warm, so after an easy, free 10-minute walk on the treadmill stretch for ten minutes, then continue walking. Thereafter every five minutes walk, take a minute stretch of hamstring, quadriceps, calf, lower back and shoulder in cycle. Continue the treadmill workouts for 40 minutes.
